Cacao Butter - ''Raw White Chocolate''
Is this the next big thing to hit the world of raw-foods?
Via "The Euphoria Company":
"What is Raw Cacao Butter? Nature's First Law Cacao Butter is the only raw, certified organic, chemical-free cocoa butter - the pure oil of the cacao bean.
100% pure love. 100% pure sensual joy. No chemicals, no hexane, no solvents. Melts at approximately 90 degrees Fahrenheit (35 degrees Celsius)
How to use Cacao Butter:
Nature's First Law Cacao Butter is edible and possesses an extraordinary rich, delicate chocolate aroma. Add a piece of this ecstatic butter to your favorite smoothie, dessert, ice cream or chocolate creation. Because it has not been damaged by heat, our cacao butter melts easily and blends nicely into any type of recipe. This makes it super fun and easy to use."
Raw Agave Nectar, Raw Cacao Beans & Goji Berries have all been mega hits and are all products of the David Wolfe/Nature's First Law Empire. What are your thoughts? Cacao butter too?
Can I make my own raw cacao butter instead order it ? or it is impossible to make one?
It is very difficult for me to find or order raw cacao butter because I love cheesecake and I started eating living raw food in two months ago. I want to make a simple raw cheesecake but it is required to have raw cacao butter? Please help me also I really need a 3HP Blender since I had bought Excalibur Food Dehydrator in couple of months and I used regular blender isnot good enough but hope to get one someday.
I had made Vanilla Cashew I-Scream
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup clean water or coconut water
2 fresh lemons juice
1 teaspoon fresh zesty lemon peeled
1/2 fresh vanilla bean scrape it
2 teaspoons raw coconut oil
blend it all in simple regular blender but if you have 3hp blender will be wonderful. Put in the freezer for 45 minutes and eat it right away add garnish fresh raspberries or sliced strawberries or boysberris any fruit can combine with. Enjoy it

Mirna,
To make your own raw cacao, and do it right, you'd need your own high end press. These machines cost a lot of money so I'm not sure how easy it is or isn't to do. But I'm sure there is a manual, less technical way, to make it happen. From what I hear the Mayans use to do it with big rocks that would press cacao beans and other seeds.

Raw cacao is amazing. I made a raw chocolate cheese cake for my birthday and it gives it that butter richness found in regular chocolate.

3-4 green onions, or 1-2 shallot, chopped
3 baby yellow pepper, chopped
3 baby orange pepper, chopped
3 baby red pepper, chopped
2 T raw sunflower seeds
1/4 cup raw pecans, chopped
1/4 cup raisins
1 T fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 t spirulina
1/2 t Himalayan sea salt

Mix all and serve. Yum! You can create to add something else in the salad like instead of raisins use cranberries without junk sugar (I know it is hard to find, but they are good)instead of pecan use almonds. Something you can create! Enjoy!

HI Everyone ;)
Blueberries Dream Bars by Wendy Rudell
I made that last night and most delicious I ever had except I changed the ingredients.
For Crust: 2 cups round walnuts, pecans or brazil nuts or combination (I prefer combination)
1 cup shredded coconut
2 cups pitted honey dates, half cut and soaked 1 hour in 1 1/2 cups water (I prefer 1 cup pitted honey dates( any dates except no Medjool too sweet)
In a food precessor, grind a=the nuts until meatly, slowly adding the cocomut and dates. This micture shoud start to form a dough-like consistency;if not, add a tablesoon or so of water. Press into a springform pan to make a crust about 1/2 thick. Set aside.
Filling:
4 cups blueberry puree (I bought organic Frosen Blueberries)let it thaw for fifteen minutes
1/2 cup Amazon acai
1 cup soaked date and I add 6 pieces Medjool Date
1 Tbs psyllium to thicken
in a food processor to blend blueberries and acai to make 4 cups pure and add in date to sweeten. Add psyllium to thicken. Spread this layer about 1/2 thick over the top of the crust layer. Set aside
Topping:
1/2 cup pecan nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
In a food processor, grind the nuts and coconut and sprinkle on the top of bluberry layer chill for 2 hours. Cut into triangles,
Serve with Nut Cream : 1 cup of each pinenuts, cashews and macadamia nuts soak for 1 hour 1/2 cup orange juice 1/4 cup agave nectar syrup to taste 1 tsp vanilla. Blend in vitamix until smooth, make 2 cups. You will love it there is high antixiodiants.Let me know what do you think? Enjoy Mirna
