We are happy to announce another great moment in raw-food history.
The We Like It Raw Squad was recently awarded second place at a "Compassionate Cooking Competition" moderated by none other than India's Celebrity Chef Tarla Dalal. Go team!
Tarla who? Tarla Dalal has been India’s best selling cookery author over 2 decades. She has written a over 50 titles and boy, does she like it cooked! That's why the squad was happy to hear that Tarla was open and ready for some zest in her life. We even heard her proclaim, "I never knew raw-food could be like this!"
Our winning recipes? Thai Coconut Celery Soup, Hemp-Spring Salad with Coconut Curry Dressing and a Raw Chocolate Smoothie.
We can see it now - Tarla Dalal and We Like It Raw bring raw-food to the land of 1 billion people strong! Well, we are getting a bit ahead of ourselves. Before we do anything we have to work on bringing home 1st Place.
On June 14, 2005, The San Diego Union-Tribune released a favorable article on the happenings of popular raw-food company Nature's First Law.
The article titled "Raw-food fervor starting to sprout" contained a photo (see right) of Nature's First Law founders, David Wolfe and Thor Bazler, aka Stephen Arlin. The photo, seemingly normal, has become the hottest topic of discussion over at the rawfood.com forums.
So hot in fact, that it has been reported that a few rawfood.com forum users have been banned for commenting on Thor weight. True or not, the attention has initiated a response from Thor himself.

We have a gut feeling that author Natalia Rose is going to be one prominent faces of Raw-Food 2.0*. She has a certain Sex In The City classiness that appeals to the hipsters and an intelligence that commands attention from serious health enthusiast as well.
The Raw Food Detox Diet, Natalia's second book, came out in May 2005 and since then Natalia has been bringing a lot traffic to the conversation of raw-food.
