The Town of Allopath

In the tradition of The Meatrix and StoreWars comes the latest spoof:

The Town of Allopath
A story about a town that can't seem to get their head around a "crazy idea". What is that crazy idea? That prevention, not the mere treatment of symptoms is the the answer to true health.

Wow. Thank you for posting this! You have no idea how many times I have been that hermit...

I think these spoofing documentaries over simplify the problem. but I guess that's part of the point. to put the problem in really simple terms.

either way, I just think there are so many things that people do everyday that we know aren't good for us but we do them anyway. I mean, before we could get the majority of people to change their diet how about getting people to stop smoking? and car exhaust I don't think is good for anyone either.

to me the real question is why do people, including myself, make decisions that they knowingly will lead to poorer health for themselves, the people around them, and the environment? are we just masochistic and violent and simultaneously selfish and self-destructive that way?

I just think 'diet' is the tip of iceberg.
