The importance of organic tea

Did you know that tea leaves are never washed? This means that the pesticides sprayed on them are dried into the tea. In fact, the first time that the tea actually touches water, after it's been picked, is in your tea pot. Nasty!

So, unless you've sourced or grown your herbs, keep your tea certified organic. Or even better, sun-dried-wild-crafted.
