The feeling of being more than half way through my 100-Day Juice Feast is nothing short of amazing, beautiful, and blissful.
Thank you so much for all your love and support; it has been such a wonderful adventure thus far. I have learned so much about my eating habits through juice feasting, and even more about myself on a deeper level. The community gathering around this movement is amazing to say the least. Whether you’re juicing for the day, the week, 92 days, or more, congratulations on taking your health in your own hands! I am so proud of everyone!
When I first heard someone say they felt “juicy,” it sounded so foreign to me. Now I truly understand what they meant! When all your cells have been purified with pure fruit and vegetable juice for 53 days, let me tell you - you feel Juicy! No heavy foods to digest, dehydrated crackers to process, or nuts to break down. Simply juice - pure and vibrant.
My body starts to feel so light that sometimes I have to anchor myself down so as to not fly away. It is also such an interesting feeling to have my stomach so flat. It always feels so empty, not an uncomfortable empty, but empty all the same.
At times I feel like I just want to be silent, and keep my eyes open and my mind clear as the winds of change blow me to and fro. Other times I am up and active, dancing, attending meetings, or staying up all night. David Rainoshek calls the prolonged Juice Feast “A Hero’s Journey,” and I would definitely agree! Juice Feasting totally transforms your being in every way possible by stripping away all the unnecessary layers, of fat, poor diet, confusion, brain fog, stored emotion, and blocked chi.

Juice Feasting Reminders
1. Drink A Gallon
For proper nutrition, energy, and a vibrant and healthy juice feast I really encourage you to drink an entire gallon of juice every day. I have experimented with less to observe how my body would react in both cases and am happy to report that I operate at optimum performance when on a full gallon.
2. Get Your Sleep
During times of detox, the body is repairing and cleansing itself. Be sure to get proper sleep, and take naps too - if necessary. Sometimes during a juice feast one can experience unreal energy levels. Of course, I encourage you to enjoy that - but remember to check in with yourself and be mindful and balanced as well.
3. Keep A Journal
Doing a prolonged fast/feast is one of the biggest transformations that you will go through in your life. Old habits fall by the wayside, emotions trapped from childhood are released, and excess luggage around the waist will be a thing of the past, so journal it! Later on in life you may find your journal to be a helpful tool for inspiration and empowerment.
Adding superfoods into your juices can be fun to. In this juice I added Maca, Mesquite, Pure Synergy, Spirulina, Cayenne, and Kelp. So mix up a power packed drink and hit the gym! When working with fruit juices try cinnamon and shizandra berry powder.
