Ani Phyo on Travel Channel's Bizarre Foods and creating connections

One of the things that I enjoy the most is making connections - not for myself, but connecting others. When I first meet someone I often think to myself, "Who do I know that can further this person's unique journey?" Instead of worrying about what they think of me or how I look, I'm focused on how I can serve them.

Now that We Like It Raw is becoming a little more popular (just a bit) I'm getting more and more opportunities to connect like minded people with fruitful opportunities.

A couple of months ago The Travel Channel asked us for some assistance in producing a segment on raw foods for their flag ship show, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Of course we were all about it. After a week of contacting different LA based chefs, we connected with Ani Phyo who was all about it - a synchronistic fit.

The date of the segment hasn't been set, but we thougth we'd throw out some teaser photos and link to a great interview that Ani did with Andrew Zimmern just the other day.

Here's the interview, 5 Questions with Raw Foodie Ani Phyo, and here are a few photos of Ani Phyo representing the raw food community:

A few more photos here.

Big thanks to Ani Phyo for representing the raw food community well and being a blast to work with.
