2008 US Presidential Elections, who will get your vote?

First off I'd like to say that voting with your dollar is just as important, if not more important, than voting at the poll. Spend your money with purpose and keep it out of the hands of unconscious products and corporations. Obviously eating a diet rich in raw foods is a great way to begin on that path. Not only are you investing in your health and reducing waste, but you are also supporting the green and organic movement.

That being said, I'm really interested to hear from WLIR readers to see 1) if you will be voting this election season and 2) who will be getting your vote.

This year's election season has generated such a vast amount of interest. So many people who were never interested in politics are now paying attention, especially youth. A lot of that probably has to do with the fact that most Americans, and our allies overseas, feel that the current administration is on crack.

I've met a lot of people over the last year who feel that it doesn't matter which premier candidate wins. I'm not going to lie, sometimes I feel like that too. However, that's not going to stop me from voting.

I'd also like to add that I don't expect any political candidate to be able to "save the world". I know that true transformation will come, and is coming, from people like us. People that are making conscious choices everyday to rise above unconscious influences. I'd prefer a leader who supports this grass roots transformation, but if I get one who doesn't I'm not too worried. My gut tells me that the force is so strong that it won't be stopped.

What about you? I would love for you to hit up the attached poll and share any additional thoughts you have in the comments.
