Over the last 2 days many of you have gotten "malware" and "malicious software" warning when you visited welikeitraw.com
After searching high and low for the cause, we finally found it this morning. A third-party widget we were using on the site was corrupt and so we removed it.
If you visited welikeitraw.com in the last 2 days don't worry, you are okay. As far as we can tell the third-party widget didn't do any damage.
What I do suggest is that you clear the cookies on your computer just as a precaution, but you should be doing that regularly anyway : )
Sorry for the issues! Thanks for your readership

Simplicity is a free recipe booklet and guide created by our friends at Kaia Foods to help kick start your raw food journey. The booklet contains 32 simple but very delicious recipes, and two shopping lists containing all their ingredients.
Simplicity is a fantastic resource for those out there that are very new to the world of holistic health, raw foods and simple eating.
You can download Simplicity totally free here.
In full disclosure, Nick Kelley from Kaia Foods is a friend and an advertiser on the Agave Network. We don't do sponsored posts here on We Like It Raw, but every so often one of our advertisers does something so cool that we just have to link it up.

We've launched a new mini-site called Masala. Masala is a feed aggregator that makes it easy for you to keep up-to-date with the best raw food blogs online.
We'd like to give a shout-out to Kaia Foods for sponsoring Masala. It takes time and money to build a successful and extremely supportive health community, and we totally appreciate the fact that there are raw/vegan companies out there supporting our community building efforts.
In addition to sponsoring Masala, Kaia Foods is offering 35% off their entire line of Raw Granola as a "thank you" to the raw food community. So if you need to stock-up on some healthy snack food for yourself or a loved one, now is the perfect time. Granola Flavors include: Dates & Spices, Cocoa Bliss and Raisin Cinnamon.
Personally, I'm a Dates and Spices kinda-of-guy. Must be my Indian blood. ; )
Note: We'd like to give another shout-out to All Top and Guy Kawasaki for inspiring us to create Masala. If you enjoy Masala you'll also enjoy All Top Organic and All Top Vegan.

ElixirCraft Mastery is the latest collaboration between We Like It Raw and Alchemist Daniel Vitalis.
In short ElixirCraft Mastery is a 6 Part 6 Hour MP3 Course on the power of liquid herbal alchemy. You really have to hear it to believe it, so instead of me really trying to explain I suggest you head over to elixir-mastery.com to listen to a free 11 minute preview of the course.
I'm all about the raw food movement becoming more sophisticated and this course is my contribution to that mission.
Here are what some of my friends have to say about the course:
Heidi and Justin from Raw Food Right Now:
It is our prediction that ElixirCraft will be part (or leader) of a whole new paradigm for home-based nutrition. Now that we all "got" the raw aspect of eating, it's time to ask, "What's next?". In our opinion, ElixirCraft is what is next, or at least part of it.
"Daniel and Dhrumil are true players! I wish I could be exactly like them."
Actually Philip didn't say that, but I'm sure he's thought it before. ; )
I'll be making my own video testimonial about the course tomorrow. I want to be authentic and transparent about 1) why I teamed up with Daniel to put this course out there and 2) how this information has evolved my own journey.
Hope you enjoy!

Note: I wrote this post and then realized that the Green Business of the Year award was announced back in November. I'm a little late with this news, but none the less my appreciation still stands.
Original Post
I first heard about Mountain Rose Herbs from herbalist/alchemist Daniel Vitalis. Daniel does most of his bulk herb purchasing from MRH because the company has such a commitment to quality products, affordable pricing, fare trade and the organic movement.
Upon hearing Daniel's recommendation I tried a few of their products and was immediately sold. I've now been using MRH products in my daily Elixirs for about 5 months.
This morning I got a Facebook message from Green America (formally Co-Op America) that gave me another reason to love MRH even more:
Our 2008 People’s Choice Award
What better way to celebrate the new year, but through celebrating the best of 2008. The votes are in and the people have spoken! Congratulations to the winner of our fourth annual People’s Choice Award for Green Business of the Year- Mountain Rose Herbs.
Mountain Rose Herbs is an amazing business. A member of our Green Business Network for 17 years, Mountain Rose has grown from a one-woman living-room operation in the late 1980s to a remarkably sustainable mail-order company employing 60 full-time employees in Eugene, OR. Mountain Rose’s products are truly green, with a commitment to sourcing only 100-percent organic herbs since 2001, in addition to pioneering the sale of Fair Trade Certified™ herbs in the US.
But beyond their product, everything about Mountain Rose is deeply, deeply GREEN.
The entire company produces less than 80 gallons of waste per month (the equivalent of a four-person household), and staff are committed to the ultimate goal of zero waste. Mountain Rose makes deliveries in a fleet of trucks running on 100-percent locally produced recycled biodiesel, and even at their desks in the office, Mountain Rose employees are using recycled office supplies and energy-efficient computers.
They are the real deal, and a true asset to Green America.
I love hearing stories of small business success. I love hearing stories of small green business success even more.
Congratulations to the team at Mountain Rose Herbs. We wish you continued success in 2009.
